Event: How to encourage academic research in the fields of innovation and LegalTech

On Wednesday 9 June 2021 the Innovation in Law Studies Alliance (ILSA) will be hosting a webinar entitled ‘How to encourage academic research in the fields of innovation and LegalTech’. During the webinar, the speakers will answer questions such as:

Is your university promoting research in fields related to Innovation, legal technology and the future of law?
In what fields related to Innovation and Legal Tech do you think that we need more research?
Can you share with us relevant experiences of your university in academic research in Innovation and Legal Tech?

Speakers include:

Maurits Barendrecht: Research director at HiiL Innovating Justice and professor of innovation of justice systems at Tilburg University, The Hague, The Netherlands.
Francine Ryan: Senior Lecturer in Law at The Open University and co-director of the Open Justice Centre, Warrington, United Kingdom.

The discussion will be moderated by María Jesús González-Espejo, President of ILSA and CEO of the Instituto de Innovación Legal.
